Will Make You Check Your Furniture Twice Before Sitting On It

September his here, which means the Fall season is in gear and in a short amount of time, the Halloween season. While there’s plenty of horror movies being released in theaters during this time, there are some titles that are straight to video released. One of these straight to video releases coming will make you observe your couch or chair before sitting on it.

Today, High Octane Pictures released the trailer for their upcoming monster horror flick “Killer Sofa!” Yes, the monster is a killer piece of furniture. According to the synopsis presented by the film distributors and its director, Bernard Rao:

“Francesca always attracted weirdos. When one of her stalkers is found dead, she looks for comfort from her best friend, Maxi. Meanwhile, Maxi’s grandfather, Jack, a disgraced Rabbi, comes across a reclining chair containing a Dybbuk inside. Jack and his voodoo sorceress partner try to find out where the recliner has been delivered while exploring Jack’s newfound gift for communicating with the other world. Meanwhile the reclining chair becomes enchanted by Francesca and starts committing crimes of passion.”

The trailer, which you can see below offers a dark atmosphere and quick shots of some potential death scenes as well as the central figure of the movie, A brown recliner sofa which looks like something you would find at Value City Furniture! I must admit, I laughed at the stand alone shots of the sofa. This has the makings of a good B-Movie Horror/Comedy you could relax in your non possessed couch and enjoy!
